I am considering buying an SR9 at the next gunshow that will be in Savannah, GA on Oct 18. My purpose is to buy a good reliable handgun for self-protection and the occassional concealed carry. From what I have read, the SR9 fits that bill.
I have not yet found a range or a person with an SR9 to be able to shoot one, so I will have to go by the feel of it in my hand and the feel of the trigger pull at the gun show to make my final decision.
I know that there were some major modifications done since the original SR9 was released, especially to the trigger. I also know there was a recall and I think changes were made to the safety.
My question:
How can I check to be sure the SR9 I buy has all the latest changes? Is there a particular serial number after which all SR9's have all the latest changes?
Thanks,
Russ
