Hi all,

I've been shooting ICORE competitions with a Ruger LCR :) I'm stepping up to a GP100 that I'll get a trigger job done on. Which holster would be a good one for competition?

Also, which front sight do you recommend for competition?

Thanks,
-NorthK

Metal lined....

I have a very old Ernie Hill for my 4" KGPs. Safariland offers serious-use belt holsters that are acceptable for games, AND game-exclusive choices.

Sights are personal, but I prefer the (discontinued) Millett orage-ramp front blade. I use them exclusively on my Rugers.
I've tested some optic-rod fronts, but am staying with the Milletts until someone offers something (exactly) like a Dawson with its recessed .040" rod.

I have used the GPs, and mostly my Redhawks, for Revolver Division in USPSA.

Thanks weshoot2. Anyone else have opinions as well? I called Safariland and they said that their 002 Cup competition holster only works with hook-and-loop belts.

Look into Blade-Tech for holsters. They might have what you're looking for. I too, snag every Millet orange bar front sight I encounter.
