Commander-size ......

I have a Colt Commander and a Ruger CMD. I prefer the steel frames.

Wife #1 has carried a Colt Lightweight Commander for years.

I remain convinced that most women need a Ltwt. Commander at hand, much more than any man I know. ;)

I like the all-steel Commander for holster work, but shy from carrying one everywhere.

I bought this gun .... along with a friends wife. She and I think he needs it worse than I do, so it's going under the Christmas tree for him. I'm throwing in an ammo can with 250 rounds of good quality re-loads to boot.

Now she can't complain when he and I go shooting!
