Colored Hi-Visibility Front Sight??

On my new SBH the rear sight and front ramp are same color, making the front ramp hard to see with my aging eyes, especially when shooting at a dark colored target. Any reccomendations for an insert color to eliminate the problem, or at least lessen it somewhat. Can I install a completey new front sight or is this something best left to a gunsmith?

The easy way and what I do on my guns is to put a thin coat of white polish on the ramp , let it dry for an hour and then place a coat of "brite" red over it. A tooth pick works well as an applicator.
