I seen these on G/B they had $25 open bit $30 buy it now. The black that i wanted had a bid so i did a buy it now on it and bid the $25 on the s/s coated 1. They were $10.00 shipping each but he combined it to 1 $10 shipping so for $65.00 i don't think i could have had them done for that.I have to go back to get the name of the coating, but they were cleaned stripped sandblasted+then coated. For the extra $25.00 it will be fun to see what ends up being made from that s/s receiver. The other black 1 will be a Mossberg 500 with a 22" vent rib barrel with aacu chokes.I have all the parts for it and 3/4 of the other depending on what barrel it ends up having. The newer 500 have a shorter pump arm and the stroke is shorter too. I might try 1 of them on with a collapsible stock. They look a bit like a winchester 1300 with the shorter arm that moves the wood back to the receiver a hole lot.

This saids New Haven 600 made by Mossberg on it but its a moss 500 too.

Well, from what you have stipulated JW, they started out well by cleaning and stripping and sandblasting the receivers. That is a great start. Some of the home-brew coatings forgo this and it is what is really gonna help whatever coating is chosen stick to the receiver for any length of time.

Looks like a nice pickup and a great start on a project!!

I seen my FFL guy at the post office today and got a good look at these receivers that came in today. Can't get to his shop to do a transfer yet but i got to hold them and they were nicer then the pictures.I could not find 1 thing to complain about.Life is good. :D I was bidding on Moss 500 parts kits last night on g/b and the same guy out bid me + won every 1 of the 9 auctions that went off.All from the same seller.9 times he out bid me. He could have let me have 1.I got caught up in bidding and went way higher then i was going to.Good thing i lost.
I got 5 more on watch, but a hole working gun is only about $40-$50 more in most cases. But its fun to goof around watching, bidding and building them.

Sand blasting the mag tube brought this gun together pretty nice. Ended up with a 20" accu choke vent rib barrel. I mite put a 6 pision stock on this shotgun? I see a nice set on ebay for $75 free shipping with a forend with rails onit. Or the next 1 will have it.This thing sure kicks.I need a black sling too..
I have to remove the rings from the mag tube and sand blast the tube. Not sure what stockit will end up.I am a stock bolt short or it would have the other stock set on it with that rifle slug barrel lying there.

The guy sent the wrong recever in black, only had a single pump arm so he sent me a replacement free and i kept the other too.
