Walked in to Cabelas this morning to check out the used rack and ended up having them hold a used 6" half-lug stainless GP100 for me while I decide if I need another one of these. This one is nice and tight, pretty snug on the cylinder gap, and looks to have been shot very little.
I used to have one of these but traded it in a moment of weakness when I talked myself into believing that my Gemini Custom 3" SP101 was all the 357 I needed anymore. I had set this GP100 up with a gold dot front sight and a shallow V rear blade and it was one very sweet-shooting rig.
I have 5 days to decide whether to purchase this one. I was able to talk them down to $525. I've been pricing them on the auction sites and that seems to be a generally good deal. I saw a couple for a little less but not in as pristine a condition. What the heck, it's only money right?
