For those of you that have the old Sixes, you'll know that Custom Holsters(or any) just are NOT easy to find.

Sure, you can buy one for a K-Frame, but every now and then, ya want to "buck the system".

Well, I talked to my Insurance guy/Buddy/Holster Maker-in-the-Making, and lent him one of my "Sixes" for him to "cut his teeth on", and this is what he came up with:

I think it looks GREAT! Normally I'm not a snakeskin guy, but he did this for free, because he wanted the practice. This was his third attempt, and he's finally happy with it. The snakeskin was an added bonus.

Any idea what he'd charge for one of these minus the snake hide? Or if he's even interested in making and selling them?

I believe he said tonight, he would do it for $50 plus shipping.

Don't hold me to that yet, but I'm thinking that was the price he quoted me.

I'm going to talk with him today, I'll ask.

I told him these would be a hit, since there are so many out there. He was really nervous about doing these, since they are a tad heavy.
