Well we just got this in last night....we sold it new in 2003...a Royal Enfield 500 Bullet Military :D :D :D the factory motto is "Built like a Gun" :!: :!: :!: this is one of the last "iron barrels" as they now have a new unit construction motor with Fuel Injection .......and the price has gone up accordingly....I think we will keep this and ad it to my small collection.....RR.

Wayne, I don't collect motorcycles I just sorta accumulate them.....here are a few more that are in my barn....I have 4 or 5 more in the warehouse at the shop....they just stick around.....I once gave away 20 that had no titles....they didn't last long....the last time I did that I gave them to a friend that was paralyzed in a pro MX race and he sold the parts on ebay....between my son and myself we have maybe 5 more Nortons and I have a 70 Bonny in the warehouse plus a like new 1975 CR125 and a 1976 XL100....had a 1969 750 Honda but sold it to a Japanese collector for a LARGE PILE OF YEN    RR

Nice, my dad has a 2002 model of the same RE. It has a black solo seat, he made a black steel rack for behind the seat and it has on/off tires. The tires make a big difference in looks, I would reccomend them. He loves it. Hope you enjoy it just as much!

Looked at the Rpyal Enfields back when I was trying to find what I wanted to buy for a bike. They weren't the sort of bike I wanted in the end - they're one that requires tinkering. Loved the style and fit just wanted more modern for my needs. (Went with the Bonneville) There's a couple dealer's for the RE's around now and I've been tempted again but holding steady.
That Norton though...8)
