change

I do not carry change. If it is offered as change from a purchase and is less than 50 cents I tell them to put it in the "penny cup" if it's more than 50 cents I hand it to my wife who is standing next to me. Many years ago there was a sandwich shop that all their prices were in dollars with no change involved. They figured in tax and either rounded up or down to make the purchase more convenient and probably not to confuse their younger staff. I patronized their business until I moved from the area.

For the record I am not in favor of a cashless society.

I believe that all forms of payment should be accepted.

I just personally don't like using cash/change. Purely convenience for me.

I do everything possible with good old cash and avoid places / situations that require cards, even when it means leaving. It's just not American and goes agianst better senses.
My pockets get emptied every night into a change jar to become my saddle and gun fund.
