That figures :( It's happened before so I got on their wait list.
Well, it's not even listed on their website anymore. I sent them this email:
"I've been using your Curcumin C3 Complex with great results. I see that it's not available on Amazon and isn't on your website either. Have you discontinued it? If so, do you know the name of the company who now markets it? Thank you!"
Here's their response:
"Thank you for contacting Viva Naturals with your inquiry. Unfortunately, our Curcumin C3 Complex has been discontinued, and is no longer available for purchase. As well, we are not familiar with any brands selling this particular formulation of our Curcumin. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
We are working on formulating a new turmeric product, but do not currently have an exact date when that will launch, and again, I apologize. If you'd like, we can email you to notify you when this new product is available. Please let us know.
Again, I apologize for any inconvenience caused. Should you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us back."

One of our Dr's is saying he has seen good results with CBD oil. His Vet suggested it when he talked about having to put his dog down because it could barely get up and move around. Using the oil has given the dog a new lease on life, so he talks about it to patients he thinks it may help.
HOWEVER, according to Wisconsin law it IS regulated.

I got some Jarrow Formulas Curcumin 95 from Amazon, $16.48 for 120 capsules of 500 mg. I was taking the suggested dose of 1 500 mg capsule a day and noticed nothing. I increased that to 3 capsules a day and still noticed no changes. Seeing no ill side effects, I increased dosage to 2 500mg capsules with meals and at bedtime. That's been going on for a couple weeks now and I have to say my overall pain level has decreased; as much as when I was using the MD prescribed 100mg of amitriptyline that caused chronic dry mouth and messed with my focus when trying to concentrate.
I told myself I'd try a bottle to see how it goes. Well, I ordered another bottle and it arrived today. I'm satisfied with it and, for me at least, it works better than the CBD oil that still sits in the medicine cabinet.

dougader, I'm not surprised that brand of Curcumin didn't work well. It has to have BioPrine-Black Pepper Extract in order to be absorbed. The fact that Jarrow left out this necessary ingredient makes me question their Milk Thistle I take. After reading the label on your Curcumin, I'll never buy another of their products. Since my Viva Naturals has been discontinued, this is the one I'll try next:

FWIW: The NuLeaf CBD oil was a bust--nada. Won't be buying more as it did absolutely nothing for me.

Been watching this thread. I was a hoping that it might help me. Doc's got me on script meds for arthritis to many side effects/dangers for my liking.
Reckon if a feller just smoked a little weed it would help? Ain't been around any weed in pert near 30 years. (never liked the buzz)
I just don't understand the dadgum government needing to regulate every thing. Cain't hardly buy a toilet that will flush the first time. If something natural helps with pain then I reckon it were put here for us and uncle Sam needs to keep his nose out of it.
Aw hell, I reckon if I post this I'll be on another one of their "list".

Dougader, I was shocked to hear you were on amitryptiline for arthritis since it is an anti depressant! I wouldn’t expect it to help the arthritis. Alkalanizing the body does help by eating veggies, lemon juice and vinegar. Tumeric helps, as does Ibuprofen for me. All of that decreases inflammation. Until MJ is legal Federally, I will leave it and CBD alone. I have too much to lose.

Neurologist says it helps block pain receptors and has been helpful with chronic pain. And it did that to an extent, but I got tired of the side effects and weaned myself off of it.
I can't use NSAID's anymore (ibruprofen, aspirin, naproxen) as it causes real problems with my stomach. I ended up in the ER with gastritis twice over it and don't want to do that again. The pain is unreal.
