Looking for feedback from anyone who has used this product . I have a family member who is suffering from anxiety / panic disorder and is very sensitive to the different medications the doctor has prescribed .
A lot of information out there that says this stuff really works , but I'm looking for reliable feedback from someone who has used it or knows someone who has .
Figured I would post on here as there is a wealth of information from a diverse group .
Thanks for any feedback you can give me .

I have not used it, but my wife is an Orthopedic RN & a number of patients have said they use it instead of pain medication. I went to the "healthy store" that sells it. They have a dozen different varieties of CBD oils for all different aches, pains & anxiety issues. Price was $54 for an eye dropper size container that's supposed to last 2 months, so apprx a $1 a day. I've heard from people who swear by it.
****It may give a false/positive reading for drug test****

Lots of that available here in Colorado and I use the ointment myself. Definitely helps with localized pain and works quite quickly. A friend who owns a high end drug testing lab says he can definitely pick up a little THC on urine tests from people who use it, but it appears that the ointments which have a small amount of THC mixed into the CBD have a better pain efficacy than a straight CBD variety.

My wife has been taking it for a year to ease the pain of her diabetic neuropathy. She says it definitely helps and it also has a calming effect. She takes it everyday.

Alot of what is listed/sold as CBD oil is not. Be careful what you buy since it is unregulated.
That is my understanding also. For all that anyone knows is could contain any amount of CBD oil or none.

Thanks for the reply's . They do have a reputable distributor local to them , just reluctant to try it without more information .

Do be aware that the DEA treats CBD products as illegal drugs. https://www.newsobserver.com/news/local/article216043615.html

Walmart sells "Sativa" oil (Hemp oil) which has the CBD but not THC. The label claims it is legal in all 50 states. It seems to ease the pain in my knees and we will see if it lowers my bad cholesterol the next time I visit the VA. One teaspoon morning & night - it doesn't taste too bad & I follow it up with peanut butter most of the time. I don't know if it can be used in cooking, but it is recommended for salad or condiment oil.

A guy at work swore by it, so I tried some for chronic neck pain. It worked for about a week, then nothing.... shortly after, my co-worker said the same thing and stopped using it as well.

I researched it and bought the most recommended brand from watching several different sources on the internet. Mainly wanted to try for general aches and pain. I saw no benefit from my trial usage. I had a 3 month supply. Your mileage may vary.

Until it is regulated and a lab certification is in place, you want know what you're buying!
The best CBD oil has THC in the mix and the percentage is higher than the "legal kind". But, you can't pass a drug test with it and it's not legal in every state.
THC is a better pain killer than CBD and when used in a 50/50 mix, it will better deal with the pain. And CBD will lower the high from the THC while still helping with pain and inflammatory problems such as arthritis.

And that's the problem. The THC will get you fired with a hot UA, but the CBD didn't help...

Just want to move this thread back up to try to get some fresh input. My knees are killing me and I probably going to need replacements but I’m trying to put it off. Thinking about CBD but I don’t want to end up driving a VW bus and wearing bell bottoms and tie dyed shirts LOL.

I started on NuLeaf CBD oil a few days ago. www.nuleafnaturals.com It contains <.03 THC. You shouldn't take it in large quantities or that .03 could show up in a urine sample. Believe me, you couldn't afford to take it in larger quantities if you weren't chasing a high.

PM me if you want more info, and always use a 15% + off code! My results are still out, but I'm a patient man :)

I understand 10 mg of CBD oil is the daily doseage. As #9 said, until regulated you roll your dice. Good luck to all. Once legal I will try.
gramps

I’m assuming it’s legal in Pa. since it’s readily available here. I’m guessing there’s a lot of hype out there and don’t expect a miracle.
My wife just told me one of her co-workers is close friends with a customer of mines wife. She said he (my customer) swears by it. Next time I talk to him I have to figure out how to work it into the conversation to see if he suggests it. It don’t want him to think we’re gossiping.

Dosages vary by manufacture. I take 24 mg 2x per day under my tongue for a total of 48 mg per day.

gramps, it is legal according to the federal gov't if it contains less than .03% THC. Most of the best stuff is fully tested by independent labs. Who are you wanting to regulate it, as well as all supplements, I suppose. The FDA? Then let Big Pharma get their hands on all supplements? Not me! :)

I’ve just heard stories about it could be about anything in the bottle since it’s not regulated. I don’t want to spend $XX for a bottle a wind up paying for olive oil or a diluted CBd.

Do your research! A computer is your friend.

I remember hearing that Curcumin C3 Complex (Turmeric) was good for arthritus. Against my better judgement, I bought some at Walmart and nothing. I'd already been taking Glucosamine with Chondrotin and MSM. About 2 years later I decided to really research it--like I posted above. So, I bought Viva Naturals 500 mg Turmeric--2 per day.

I went to visit my boy in OH for a few days. It dawned on me that I had zero pain in certain finger joints that had been painful for years. I'd completely forgotten about the new Turmeric I was taking. I even asked him where his bottled water came from thinking it may have some minerals in it that were helping. It came out of Canada. Then I remembered the new Tumeric. It was amazing!

Well, after 2 months I went to order some more and it was out of stock. 2 weeks after stopping my arthritic fingers had the sharp pain back exactly like before :( When it got back in stock I ordered 6 months of it. You guessed it--2 weeks later the pain was gone, again.

It's the same with any supplement! Buy from Walmart or GNC and good luck with that.

I don't own stock in any of these companies and I don't care if people take a certain supplement of not. There have been some false statements made in this thread and I'm just pointing them out.

This what got me to research it: A week ago Thursday I went out to dinner with a lady friend and we both love dogs. Somehow we got onto CBD oil. Her old Boxer had severe arthritis and could hardly get up and down. Someone recommended she use CBD oil from Kat's Naturals in Dayton, TN www.katsnaturals.com With dogs you put it in their ears. Dogs don't bullsh!t you! Her crippled dog was going down steps and even ended up playing with her other 2 dogs. It was an amazing story from a credible source. He was 13 and passed away from old age. It unquestionably made her dog's last few months more pleasurable.

I'm not saying it would work with all dogs, but it sure did with this one!

Now, go do whatever you want

PS: I just started taking it Wed. night so I have no idea if it will benefit me or not.

FWIW I’ve been taking Relief Factor for a couple months and I will say that my knees feel less painful who can say? With me it depends on my activity that say. This AM I went to Wally World and I had no pain at all. At times I walk like Walter Brennan but today nothing.

I wish the stuff worked. I guess I'll try some of the tumeric and see how that goes.

The CBD oil seemed to work for a couple days, and I literally cried thinking I had found something to relieve all the neck pain I have. Docs had me on amitriptyline and doubled the dose over the years and it still didn't cut it. Feds seem determined to stop people from getting pain management under the guise of addicts abusing pain killers, so there's that. I've been saving my last vicodin for about 18 months now... for that day I just can't live with the pain.

I tried the kratom leaf powder and thought there might be something to it, but when the dose gets up to where I get 2-3 hours of relief then I get sick for about 5 hours more. It just doesn't agree with me at all.

dougader, this is the Turmeric that helped me along with the Glucosamine. Not all supplements work for all people, nor do prescription RX's. It's relatively cheap--so what do you have to lose?

Thanks, Cholo, I'll give it a try.
