Catching Brass

I'm going to buy one of the new Ruger AR's in 308. I NEED to find the spend brass but I'd like to not spend all day doing it. Any suggestions?

Have you considered one of the strap-on brass catchers, such as the one made by Caldwell? I use one on my AR and if you put it on good and tight, it does a good job.

If you mount a scope on it, just hang a baseball cap (thru the hats adjustment strap) over the ejection port. The empties will catch in the hat or fall at your feet... I do this with my scoped Minis and it works well...

I just got one of these and it works even better than the older strap on the handguard style of catcher. It is new from Caldwell.
