I want to have a few hammers case hardened Where to send ?? and about how much to do this? also turn around time?

If you want them "colored", Turnbull does as fine a job on Ruger castings as anyone....and better than most.

If you want them "case hardened" though, that's a whole nuther senerio.
You'll need a gunsmith with very-special skills for that. And if them are Ruger hammers that you're asking about, it aint needed anyway. Ruger hammers are already hardened....all the way to the bone.

This is an example of Turnbull's work. The hammer is pretty sweet lookin should have cocked it for the pic. ps

This is not a very good pic but it shows my New Frontier with the hammer I sent along with a Ruger to be case colored. Skipping the clearcoat makes for a very good match to Colt colors. I believe it was Turnbull that did the coloring.

Had a USFA done as well (trigger too), need the other done.
