If you want them "colored", Turnbull does as fine a job on Ruger castings as anyone....and better than most.

If you want them "case hardened" though, that's a whole nuther senerio.
You'll need a gunsmith with very-special skills for that. And if them are Ruger hammers that you're asking about, it aint needed anyway. Ruger hammers are already hardened....all the way to the bone.

I am looking to have my Colt hammers case colored

This is not a very good pic but it shows my New Frontier with the hammer I sent along with a Ruger to be case colored. Skipping the clearcoat makes for a very good match to Colt colors. I believe it was Turnbull that did the coloring.

Had a USFA done as well (trigger too), need the other done.

Turnbull used to be $25ea. Hammer/ Trigger with a $75 minimum. A call would get today's price and turn-around time.

Probably no one better.
