We like some of the quick food from a local franchised Indian restaurant.

Yesterday I went to order carry-outs of two lunch specials they have at $9.00 that we usually buy. When the bill came it was for $28.00! Thinking there was a mistake I pointed out the sign which clearly stated $9.00 per order.

The knucklehead teen at the cash register said he'd have to check with the manager. He comes back and says that the $9.00 price is for eat-ins only! WHICH is not only nonsense based on our previous experience there, but impossible under current health restrictions under which all the tables and chairs are sealed off from use!

He would not change the price, but eventually threw in some extras that made up the difference.

The charms of the East.

Its BBQ from now on.

The kid is scamming, I would have to hear it from the owner or managers mouth. Thats $1 OVER three times the price!

I have to agree. Someone is scamming someone. Apparently the owner isn't around and the kid is looking to make some extra money.

We like a particular pizza. I usually get a different medium for each of us. Lasts us 3 days

We like this one particular Chinese restaurant, the menu price for lunch is $7.50, however we I go to pay, it somehow comes up to$8.50 or $8.99 for the lunch special. I’ve never said anything, and it’s been like this for many years now. Same waitress, very friendly....

I also would have NOT paid and left the food
Places want to take advantage of you then they cry they have no business & need a bail out
Instead of thanking you for patronizing them during this difficult loss of business time they want to stick you & everyone else for the privilege of taking out their food

These types of scammers need to go out of business

I would have walked out without the food or paying.
I would have insisted on seeing the manager, told him/her what I thought about
the situation and THEN walked out without product or payment being made.

That way, if the twerp at the register is skimming, it becomes known.

It is sad how some people are using these hard times to their advantage. (That includes many of our elected officials.)

Fortunately, it has also shined a spot light on the many good and brave people who have been doing their best to help others.
