I'd call that when the wind wrong, very wrong
I ate a whole habanaro at a party years ago. I did it but I'm done with the magma peppers. I stick to nothing hotter than jalapeños now.

At one point Carolina Reapers were hottest in the world. Now some guy has bred what he calls Pepper X which holds the title for a while.

Same guy that created the Carolina Reaper pepper. The Pepper X is 3x as hot at 6.9 million Scoville units. An interview asked him if Pepper X was the pinnacle of hotness, and he winked with a "No, it's not".
