Carnation Washington

So here are some flood pictures of Carnation Washington. I have the folder dated Jan 19, 2005. I remember calling work that night telling them I wouldn't be able to make in in the morning. My only choice would have been to drive up to Duvall or Monroe and across and then way back to downtown Seattle. Just too much.

I was just looking at all my pictures of the area. I really miss it there. Carnation doesn't even have a stop light. We could walk to the Mexican restaurant down on the main street...one time we forgot to bring any money at all. We walked home, got some money...it's all good. You just can't do that in Dallas. And close to the Nestle Farm was an organic you pick em blueberry farm. What an incredible place!

Once more I find myself homesick for a place I've never been. That bridge across a tree lined river is a beautiful shot!

Selena, are there any covered bridges over there near you? Some of the countryside in Indiana is pretty...

I played a round of golf at a course in Carnation one summer in the 80's. The deer on the fairway kept interfering. Beautiful area.

Cool Kevin you finally posted the pictures and I know exactly where all those places are, for those that have never been there all the water you see in the fields should be dry farm land.

Kevin the road the bridge is on is the road that takes you to the girl scout camp we built instead of turning off the highway and going over the bridge I turned east away from the bridge and up a winding road into the hills.

Oh and the ugly city of Seattle, I have worked on quit a few of those buildings, I hate Seattle and try to avoid going there as much as possible.
