Can't remove grip on LCRx

I've removed the bolt on the bottom of the grip and then tried to pull the Pachmyr grip off, but that thing isn't budging. I've tried sliding a plastic knife inside the grip to free it from the frame, but it only goes so far and I can't get it to go further. Any ideas on how to get this grip off (short of cutting it off) would be appreciated.

Try rocking it back and forth while simultaneously pulling it down.

Maybe spray inside of it liberally with WD-40 and start rockin' and pulling.... (???)
