Can't catch the plum

I commented in a couple posts so I ran outside (almost ran) and tried to take a pic when the light of the sun was fading. I promise this thing is kinda purple but I haven't been able to prove it. Honest wear ... whatever that means ... plus a few mods for a shooter '78 6.5" .357.
