Most people around here lately can't drive in good weather lol
That is fallout as a result of “Global Warming”.
On occasion I get some of that stuff.

About a five foot tall wall of snow where my driveway hits the Town road, deposited by the Town snowplow.
Fairly wet/heavy snow, packed like concrete from being plowed.
I have a "U" shaped driveway, with two separate places the driveway hits the Town road.
It would have taken several people one entire day of shoveling by hand to remove the wall of snow at the two places at the road.
Plus another week for the remainder of the driveway.
That particular day, around eight hours of tractor seat time for the complete job.
By the time I was done, I was running out of places to pile it.
That little Kubota is a beast!

Regarding dealing with snow. Geese have the right mindset.

The weather people are forecasting freezing rain here this coming weekend through Monday and if that happens, all the powerlines get iced up and some of them short out and we’re in the dark. I guess it’s better than having to back out around a snow drift where you can’t see where you’re going. If all that happens I’ll just curl up in the corner and stay warm.

We are currently under an Exploding Tree Advisory. The temps are going to drop so quickly that trees are in danger of actually exploding. Today got up close to 20 above, but Friday we're expecting a high of -6 with lows around -20. Not the coldest we've ever seen, but close enough for me.
Looks like some of us in the Southeast might get a bit of frozen precipitation over the weekend.... we'll see.

No kidding. They don’t even go back to Canada in the summer anymore. They hang out on golf courses in NewEngland.
The Great Salt Lake is a curious place. Some honkers fly south for the winter, and return for the summer, others only get that far south for the winter and fly farther north in the summer, and supposedly some stay year'round. Drove parkinglot patrol for a bit 25 years ago, and had to dodge waddlers and lowflying daredevils.

Weather prognosticators are calling for a good bit of sleet and ice here starting Saturday night.... and I have been inundated with calls and text for the last day wanting me to come to folks house and get them prepped for a power outage.... seems there are a lot of folks that don't understand being prepared. Went to HomeDepot today and it was nuts, don't know what folks were buying but the place was packed. Staying away from the grocery story. ... we are fine with bread and milk.

There are several lakes and marshes that are part of the Pacific Flyway nearby. We have a lot of resident populations of ducks and geese. You'd think with all the coyotes we wouldn't have quite so many geese. But truth is the coyotes are afraid of the geese.
They are predicting 6" Sat and 7" Sun here. Meh, they can't predict rain in April an HOUR before it starts. It is cold NOW, I figure it will be cold this weekend. We'll see about all the rest. Of course SCHOOLS are already closed, sissy.
