Can anyone identify this scope?

This scope came on a pistol I bought, and I am going to sell the scope. It is a Redfield 4x, and according to the PO "It is a 4X EER scope and it is one of the older sweet ones, not the new crap". I did not get a box or anything more than pictured. The only marking on it is "M7" on the bottom.

Just a fixed 4x32 redfield scope possibly came as a package deal on a rifle.
Nice scope for brush hunting Deer and Elk.

The "new crap" you refer to is probably late Redfield production
before Leupold bought the name rights and began making them
in Oregon to Leupold standards, great bargains now for the money
IMO.

The scope in question might have Leitz or B&L (Rochester) lenses. The date of manufacture isn't posted, just the emotional ref.?

Anyone want discuss where Weaver bought their lenses before Leupold bought the name? Only the two largest state-of-the-art defense & space program contractors in the free world.

"...not the new crap." Must refer to Leupold-made Weaver brand scopes. I'm not sure I'd trust a seller who calls Leupold optics "crap".

For the record, polishing glass lenses is a function of time and materials. There are no shortcuts, and anyway you look at it (no pun intended) quality drives price. Nothing cheap is good in optical devices.
