I have had a Kindle for a few years, and loaded the Kindle app on my IPhone and IPad. Whenever I have bought a Kindle book it has been on the Amazon website from my PC at home. But I am trying to figure out how to buy (and download) a Kindle book to my IPad or my IPhone? Anyone know how to do this? Help would be appreciated.

If you are using the same Amazon account for all three devices, 1) computer, 2) iPad and 3) Iphone, all the books should sync across all three devices. Does this not happen?

On your iPhone, down at the bottom of the screen when you open the kindle app there is a button called “More.” Click on that and about half way down there is a button “sync.” Try that.

Here is a toll free number for Kindle: 866-321-8851. Amazon is pretty helpful over the phone. I’ve called them many times when I have problems. They could walk you through anything like this.

Good luck.

FYI: there is another app called Libby. It will allow you to connect to your library through your library card. They will have a gigantic collection of books and audio books you can download for free. We use that instead of Kindle. Your library should know about this if you have any questions. But your library card number is your log-in for Libby.

I am guessing that you actually have an amazon account. If so as said you add the device. If not get a account and it should be easy. I read ebooks weekly and am on my second kindle. I became a published author on amazon August 2018 and working on book 2 now. Mine are fictional police stories. But, I read many true war stories by guys who where there and wrote about their service. For me I was totally surprised by the topics available and the many choices in those topics.
Vito, if you have any feeling of writing and publishing your story or any story, it is easy though amazon. Send me a PM and I can give you pointers. It's not like in the past when every book was on paper and the publisher made most of the money unless you are a top writer. Ebooks are also put into print as I have done and on audio, which I have not done yet.
