I want to buy a rifle from them that they've just gotten back in stock. I know that they move a lot of guns. It's like widgets to them. Are they down home enough to send me one with a lighter walnut stock if I ask? The ones I've recently seen are a dark chocolate that is ugly beyond belief.

Yes, I could ask them, but it might be out of stock before my question is answered. Thanks! :)

I have always found them very helpful but I have never asked that question. I would give them a call bright and early tomorrow and ask.....worst that can happen is they tell you NO! But I bet they'd do it nicely......

I called them once about a revolver but didn't end up ordering it. They sure seemed pretty "down home friendly." I bet they would certainly try, just to make the sale if nothing else.

I bought a 7.5 inch barreled .44 mag RedHawk. They advertised a price of $350, but they dragged their feet on closing the deal. The FFL form sent was incorrect ( it was faxed to them by my FFL). I finally called them, and told them I was going to involve the ATF. All of a sudden they couldn't get it shipped quick enough. Be careful.

Thanks for the replies! gramps, party pooper  That's what I was asking for, though! I'll ask. If I get one with that butt ugly dark chocolate walnut I'll be very displeased. A guy had one at the last gun show I went to for a great price. I just couldn't get past the ugly. Let's see how it turns out...

PS: gramps, you got a great deal on that Redhawk, unless it had been run over by a Mack truck.

I have bought a few from them and never had a problem, KY gun is my first choice.
