I own a Bushnell Elite 3200 handgun scope 2-6x nickel finish. Earlier this year in April, it was not tracking properly from left to right. On April 9th, I returned it to customer service in Overland Park Kansas, per the online instructions from the customer service department. It was assigned case #01328653. They received it and on April 18th, they emailed me and advised that it would be replaced under warranty. Signed off by: Bushnell Consumer Support Team. Well, the replacement scope never came. I have received no response to several emails and written letters to:

Bushnell Customer Service Center
9200 Cody St
Overland Park, Ks. 66214

Thier 800-423-3573 number is of no use. It does not direct you to a person. Just a phone message runaround.

Does anyone know someone at Bushnell or have any suggestions? Otherwise, it looks like I will never see the scope again. It did work. I was able to sight it in. I was just agitated with the fact that it was not tracking properly.

Bill

I'd keep after them. I'd look into trying to find any other way to contact them. A written letter,, mailed USPS can also help.
Be polite,, and just give facts.

Frankly, I wouldn’t expect a Bushnell Elite to track ‘perfectly’. There is a reason some scopes are expensive as they are. Like a lot of things, you get what you pay for and have expectations accordingly

Since Bushnell is now part of a 'parent company' response may be slow to nonexistent. Also, expect that there is no 'service' and no alternative beyond replacement with a 'similar' product.
I agree with Contender--just keep poking and maybe you'll hit a nerve sooner or later.

Yea, expecting a <$300 scope to "track" is asking a lot.

I own many different branded scopes. All purchased over the past 50 some odd years. Mostly Leupold. The Elite series are not sub $300.00 scopes. I started to occasionally buy the Elites begining with the 3000 series rifle scopes 25 years ago. Then the 3200 series on up to the 4600 etc. All great scopes and performance wise comparable to Leupold. Go see what your options are in pistol scopes right now. Not too many are being made. Probably due to the current popularity of red dot type sighting systems. When you want to precisely place a shot on a game animal at longer than “red dot” distances, a traditional pistol scope is preferable. Thanks for the input. The scope is gone now, however adjusting it up and down was precise and reliable. Left and right was not. They did not dispute its defect. The agreed to replace it and have not followed through. They have not responded to repeated online and written requests.

Disagree.

If I spend ~$300 on a scope, I don't expect it to have the best glass or the newest coating or multiple coatings or even a special reticle. But I would expect it to be at least be waterproof and track reasonably well.

Modern manufacturing methods and technology allow these basic features easy and affordable. $300 isn't a ton of money, but it's not nothing.

^^^I don't own a $300 scope (or didn't pay $300 for any scope I own). I'm not a 'knob twiddler' so 'tracking' isn't a big deal for me. Many of my scopes have trajectory compensating 'tics' on the vertical wire which I much prefer over twiddling the knobs(and forgetting to 'untwiddle' them back to the original zero).

I have to live within my means and always try to get the best bang for my buck. I've had very good luck with Bushnell products including rifle scopes, binoculars and even game cams. My wife just bought me another pair of Bushnell binoculars for my B-day that cost $140, I am impressed with the clarity. I hope I never need to try their customer service.

Likewise for me. Years back bought the Bone Collector edition XLT 3-9 by 40. Has performed well but gun does not see much usage lately. Hopefully will continue to have luck.

Maybe I misunderstood the original comment, but I took "tracking" to mean that 1 click really does equal 1/4" of movement or 4 clicks really equals 1" of movement.

When sighting in, you will have either a pleasant experience or unpleasant one, depending on whether each click gives consistent movement. Once sighted in, I NEVER touch the knobs (or the covers) again.

Any DECENT scope should have consistent adjustments w/o significant cost.

Put your sub $300 Bushnell on your rifle. Pull the bolt and rough in the scope on target. Shoot 1x. Now do the math, and put proper windage and elevation adj to scope. Shoot 2nd time and your dead on. See how that works for you
