Wondering if any of you have any experence with 125 gr. Buffalo Bore
357 Magnum? I bought a box but have not shot any yet. The bullets
are a hollow point and are gold colored. I think they might be the
Montana Gold bullet. These would just be for self defense in my Ruger
Service Six with a 2.75 barrel. The other load I have and not shot yet
either is the Federal classic C357B. Just got a box of them. What do
you all think about these two as for as how the bullet will do.

While I have no personal experience with either load, both companies have excellent reputations for quality products.

I think the Federal load is their Classic 125 grain jhp, well known for its effectiveness in ending fights quickly. That would be my pick.

While the Buffalo Bore may be excellent ammunition, I question the use of the Montana Gold bullet (if that's what it really is). I have not tested those rounds personally, but have heard that the MG bullets do not expand well at all.
