There's 2 words that Trump has repeated many times in many contexts: "America First". It's not just a campaign slogan. It's a foundation stone for everything he's been doing, including this EO and others.

Federal statutes are a tougher nut to crack than just agency regulations. Bondi will probably just tell the courts that the ATF will not pursue defense of regulations that are currently the subject of a number of lawsuits. FRT's, etc. That is, if she wants to keep her job.

Like Contender said, "if it is true"... but what I see is it is only pertaining to the last 4 years.... and how any actions while Biden was in office may have infringed the 2nd. What about all that has been done before that. It is directed only toward what the recent executive branch may have done and does not address any of what a State may have done in the last four years or what either the executive branch or States did previous to that. Actually in thinking about this other than cutting down on the number of FFLs I done think they really got away with anything.

Blume makes a good point with his post.

BUT,, there was a lot of stuff done in the last 4 years that did a lot of harm to FFL's, and others by how it allowed the ATF & others to go after honest gun dealers, as well as gun owners. Nothing MAJOR happened,, but it was laying the groundwork for more restrictions.

I just hope this is the FIRST of many things he does to reverse a lot of BS regulations we face.
