I shot the Colt Custom .38 Super 100 Years of Service pistol at the range today. It shot fantastic!
PMC 130 grain +P fmj, Winchester 125 grain +P softpoints, Corbon 125 grain +P hollowpoints, and Winchester 9x23mm +P 125 grain hollowpoints all functioned 100% perfectly!
The 9x23mm ammo really has some serious punch to it. Yes, it functioned great in the Colt with the .38 Super barrel.
Here are 18 rounds (two mags) at 7 yards:
Here are a whole bunch more (I forget how many I shot on this target) at 15 yards:
The Colt shoots to point of aim at 15 yards and a tad little bit low at 7 yards. I'd say it's sighted dead on!
Here's the filthy, dirty muzzle photo:
I shot the pistol with the factory wood grips so as not to damage the mother of pearl handles.
Here's the Colt back in its presentation case after being cleaned right back to like new condition:
I am very, very happy with this handsome Colt!
