I have a few boxes I'm looking to clean out.
I'm not really a collector, more of an accumulator and modifier.

Any idea on value? I have no idea what to ask.

Middle one has an end tag for a S47N.

Thanks

Those boxes are not as "desirable" as many others. The older 2 piece boxes, used for the "old model" guns are the collectable ones. The ones shown above are from the 1980's & 1990's. They sell for $10-$25 if they have an end label.

I bought a lot of these box's over the years just to store guns in that had no box (yet).
Paste a home made label on the backside and those poor orphaned guns are nice and coze in the safe.
I paid about 10.00 or so ea then, plus some shipping, mostly off e bay. Many came from golferboy. They probally sell for a bit more now.
Check out e bay or Gunbroker to see what people are ASKING.
Asking and getting , well, you know.

Hey GLASSMAN, just a note....your RSS in the split shipper is safe.....I finally found one

I guess this is box value related....I think I might have paid a wee bit more than you though...#59....RR

those later, yellow ,one piece fold-up boxes are quite common, and ONLY the end label if for something a bit 'rare' or scarce, will 'add' to any extra value, Ruger used to sell them $5 per box and if you sent in a serial number for any "old model" for the safety update, they would send you the number of shipping boxes you needed for "FREE"............
last case of them we got, with the shippers, and shipping came to around $10 each...........so 'save' your end labels that fall of those older boxes 8)
