the early one are really more of a yellow and black end, two piece ( telescoping) the ones you are asking about, the "new models" of 1973 and on, came in a red/white , one piece fold up box...used them till the one piece yellow/black fold up boxes about 10-12 years later...either was put into a brown carboard shipping sleeve, and had the guns info on the end labels as well as on one of the sides ( outside) if you are looking for any of the 'convertibles' this outside sleeve is a "must" as it has the info designating a "convertible " ( the letter "X" will be added to the catalog number) this is NOT on the gun box inside......................
