Bowen and birdshead to the range

Took the new Bowen 5-shot Vaq and the not-as-new BH Vaq to the range today, and had to take some pictures. Bowen is new, and it's amazing. Especially keen on the gold bead front sight

Thanks all! Yep, it will get plenty of use and carry, had it built just for that reason. Need to get or make some better fitting grips. Though I prefer the plow handle for recoil (contrary to most it seems), I was doing some 5-shot speed groups with heavy hitting rounds and that bit of exposed grips frame really eats the palm!

Sweet! I love Bowen's work. Is the 5-shot conversion on the original Vaquero or the mid-frame New Vaquero?

It's on a large frame vaquero, and with the bigger cylinder (and fewer holes) it gained some heft in the process!
