BORE SCOPE wanted

Any suggestions on an inexpensive bore scope that will fit a 270 bore. I can use a laptop for a viewing screen. Thanks, Jerry

Check Amazon. They frequently have them in the affordable range - fiber-optic types, anyway.

Are you wanting just a simple bore light type,, or a rod insert with a magnified, lighted inspection mirror type like the Hawkeye?
The Hawkeye is a popular model,, but as noted, not inexpensive.
MDS sells one,, (or used to,,) that was half the price of the Hawkeye.
Lastly,, a Lyman is out there,, and it's the least expensive,, and comes with it's own viewfinder. And it can download to a SD card.

Contender, I don't know. I will look at the Hawkeye and see if that is what I want or if what Lyman has is what will fit my needs. I have a couple of rifles that I would like to inspect the bore of. I did see some inexpensive ones on Amazon but maybe something a bit better is what I want. Thanks, Jerry

I just looked at the HAWKEYE, cough,cough, I don't need that one.

The Hawkeye is the most expensive,, and it's a good unit. However,, in general,, the Lyman is an excellent tool for most jobs & inspections. I have used a Hawkeye, I have an MDS, and I also have the Lyman. I use the Lyman a lot more than the MDS.
