"I'm getting my belly button pierced."
"Good! It will make a good place to hang an air freshener."

Makes me want to touch the two posts of a 9 volt battery to them. I bet that might get their attention!!! lolOr the one I can't stand to see on anyone - the ring through the base(?) of nose - "Great, easier to lead you around"
I’ve always believed that a scar comes with a better back story than just a simple tattoo.I get many during the course of some days working. Wrenches slip. Briars catch. Sharp edges scrape.
It does seem odd to do it on purpose.
Lots of them, unofficially of course, still won't.phenomenum since its start when businesses would not hire people with tats and metal ornaments hanging all over.
Since women can get pregnant, and the nipple may be used for feeding the child -- ask her if she has ever seen a hose that was "pierced" and what happensIt's harmless to others so whatever. There's a early/mid 20s figure skater that I see at the rink fairly often that got her left nipple pierced sometime this
summer ( things show in thin leotards when it's cold ) and I had to ask her why.... her boyfriend thought it would be sexy.
I suggested she get a smarter boyfriend or maybe tell him it would be sexy if he got the end of his penis pierced, see how dumb he really is.
This post made me laugh.Since women can get pregnant, and the nipple may be used for feeding the child -- ask her if she has ever seen a hose that was "pierced" and what happens
I understand each & every person has the right to do as they wish to themselves. But when someone asks me if I have a tattoo or a piercing,, I smile & say; "God created me this way,, and if he wanted me to have either one,, I would have been born with it. God doesn't make mistakes,, that's man's domain."
Not a unique idea but have seen the same woman at a couple of marathons, Detroit in 2015 or2016 and Air Force at Dayton in 2019 that
has a small list of times and dates on her thigh of all her marathons. I'd say late 40's to 50 years old, had maybe 20-25 sets of numbers.
When it comes to tattoos, simple is the best.IMHOI got a very good lesson from my father about tattoos. In WWII, he got Kansas tattooed in script on one shoulder and Philippines on the other. When I was a child, I could read them, but by the time I was in college, they were just blurs. In the O.R., I saw similar results with old tattoos. One gal with big legs had a peacock tattooed on her calf, very detailed with multiple colors. It was probably beautiful when it was done, but had smeared into something that looked like a big birthmark. The only old tattoo I ever saw that had retained its integrity was a simple line drawing of Betty Boop.
Well, I guess they did not want him to look like the Prisoners or worse! My first cousin(my mothers' brothers' kid) is married to Blaisdell Wick, the original co owner of Zippo. I have known her since she was born. She was a graphic artist at Zippo for years, until MS ended that. She is now divorced from Wick who was a real piece of work, and they have a son. OMG,last time I saw him over 15 yrs ago,the kid was covered from head to toe in tattoos an piercings. looked like some kind of circus freak, period. This idiot had every possible break in the world, decent home, money, opportunity, and screwed them all up. You just can't predict what some people will do to prove how ignorant and stupid they are. IMHOGot a nephew who's covered in tattoos, everywhere but his hands, neck and face.
He went in the Navy reserve and they stripped him and photographed every square inch of his body. Told him if he got one more, he'd be discharged as soon as it was discovered, and it wouldn't be a good discharge.
Anyway, he then got a job as a prison guard (yeah, yeah, C.O. makes them feel more important). They told him if he wanted to work in the prison he had to wear long sleeves every day at work.
Pretty humiliating but he deserves it. No one forced him to cover his body with tattoos.
