Has Ruger ever produced one in 5.5 in barrel? Thanks in advance.

I'm not certain but think the 45 LC Redhawks came long after they quit making them blued.

I think you are right. They came out in 4" stainless with that rubber grip first and then the others. We talked about one that a member here got by mistake in the wrong box. It was the first one anyone had seen. Ruger wanted it back and I believe he kept it.

Load a blued 5 1/2" RH .44 Mag with your 245 grain mold to 900 fps and be happy. Works for me.

The one blued 5 1/2" RH .45 Colt that slipped out is amazing. Its owner is one lucky man.

The first 45 colt Redhawk that got out was a 4" stainless.
