Not sure if it is a P89 or 90, but it is chromed out to the max.

Could be a P90. Some had the lanyard ring, and it can be put on any. Its just the end of the hammer spring stop.

Thats an early P89...ruined. Note the short decocker[no P85 decockers], metal floorplate 9mm mag[not a 45] ambi mag release too. What happens in Mexico should stay in Mexico especially if it involves a gun, chrome and Gold. Barf.

One thing that has stayed with me from a tirp through Mexico in '71 is the sight of a Mexican Federali in crisp uniform, high-top boots with about a dozen buckles up the side, and a 1911-style pistol with pearl grips inlaid in gold and silver with the Mexican eagle. A little classier than this one.
