Looking for some grips for a friend that has a BlackHawk Hunter with a round trigger guard. He said that he has found some for the square trigger guard but not any for the round.

Is there any difference between the grips?

Besides Houge, who else makes grips for this gun?

Thanks,

The square trigger guard grip frame is for a Super Blackhawk. If I remember right they are a little longer. More of a Dragoon style. Just type in "grips" in the search here, (There's some real good grip makers on this forum) or Google Ruger Blackhawk grips.

If he is looking for "rubber" none made for the hunter/round trigger guard style, but the super blackhawk square will/does work, it's just a aesthetic thing.

If getting 2 piece "wood" grips there is no difference.

The Super Blackhawk vs Hunter; the only difference is the trigger guard,
rounded(H) vs squared back(SBH)
In other words all a Hunter grip frame is a Super Blackhawk with the rounded trigger guard.
