OK, I have been looking for a 357,SS, Blackhawk. A few guys have said, get the 357/9mm convertible. There are some now in SS. Are these the exact same gun, but added a 9mm cylinder to it? thanks triker
Maybe if someone has a palletload of 9mm ammo to plink away, the extra cyl would be handy. I doubt a .355" bullet rattling down the barrel will drive many tacks. Ballistically, the 9mm is kinda anemic next to the .357 mag....( which can shoot bargain brand .38 Spl anyway)

There are a couple good uses for a 9mm cylinder. You could have it reamed out to 38 Special so you would then have a dedicated cylinder and not have to worry about the crud ring from shooting shorties in the mag cylinder, or go one better and ream it out to 357/44 B&D or 356 Reeder and have a viable big gamer. The 9mm shoots like doo-doo with that undersized boolit and significant freebore.
