Can someone tell me if the grips for a bisley hunter 44 mag. are different from a standard bisley ,also what would the part # be a for bisley hunter grip panels ?

While there are verrry slight size differences between the blued and stainless Bisley grip frames, they all use interchangeable grip panels as shipped. The ones on the Hunters are the black laminates while those on the standard Bisleys are the rosewood ones they're since forever.

Check Ruger's site (ShopRuger) for grip panels.

Well will these grips have to be fitted to a bisley hunter or should they be factory pre fit ?I have a set here from ruger that will not begin to fit my hunter..

No hand fitting at Ruger of grips. Exactly what is so amiss with yours? pics?

Well one side fits good the other side will not close up to the frame of the gun ,hangs down about a 1/8 inch below frame butt of the handle .Don't have any way of posting a pic .The grips that came on my gun from the factory have a series of holes drilled in them and also a releif cut in them ,the replacement set i got only had one hole drilled in them for the tang that holds the grips in place and a very small relief cut at the top .

Without any pics to see what you are talking about it kind of sounds like your grip pin is miss drilled or drilled crooked. Sounds like someone did some jury rigging to get the grips on it. Here is a link to show what I'm talking about. I've seen quite a few of pins being off as in frame B in the pics.
