Bill Maher gets something right....

Mr. Berk, who publishes this blog, is all about guns, reloading and motorcycles. He is about as fond of Maher as I am.
Which is to say, not.

The blog entry is worth reading, IMO, and the video is definitely worth seeing.
Maher gets a lot of his subject right.

I can't buy into all he said but he did make some good points. One thing I did notice was the "pie" segment. The smallest piece was 'access to guns'.

He has a very good point. That said, I believe there is zero chance of Hollywierd abandoning "action movies" . . . too much money to be made.

Don’t watch Bill Maher show but, I did see a clip about him going off on the whole transgender thing. Interesting and funny.

Personally, I do not care for Maher’s style of entertainment or the man’s sarcasm, but I must admit that I think he nailed it in the video. I agree with all he said.

He's over the top a good bit of the time but keep in mind he is a comedian. And it is all about pushing things over the edge.... I've watched his show at times and always have a problem with the talking heads part where he has three experts discussing some issue... but I have the same problem with talking heads on the various news programs... and it doesn't matter if it's CNN or FOX.... I have seen him turn the debate on guns to 'our' view. He often points out the irony of most of the gun control debate is about taking guns from the 'poor and minorities'.... and these are folks that probably need them more than 'rich white folks'....
