Picked this up at auction and looks to be an interesting piece of history. I've always liked the Security Six line, particularly in the short barrel version.



It has been fired, but not much. Comes with original box and paperwork.

Thanks. Auction sites are dangerous places. Was looking for 19th Century Top Break revolvers and ended up buying this revolver, a S&W 66-5 and a H&R Sportsman 999. At least the H&R was a top break.

I have one of those with some interesting history as well, belonged to a school friend who spent his life in law enforcement, I bought it just before he lost a battle with cancer. He served for most of his life, it served with him, now serves as a reminder to me.

Very nice find.
I'm new to Rugers, and fortunately, I started with the six series. Purely by accident. I can't stop staring at them. I pick them up and hold them just 'cause I can.
