Bianchi holster question

I bought a Bianchi holster directly from Ruger for my 4.6" Blackhawk .45 Colt. Although it is for a large frame single action revolver with a 4.6" barrel, it does not fit. The front sight on my Blackhawk is too high.

Is there a different model Bianchi that will fit my Blackhawk?

Sorry about your misfortune. I have the same gun as yourself in .44 and .357. Not sure about Bianchi, but Galco makes a nice leather holster (outdoorsman) that is outstanding. Really nice quality. Think it cost me $70. Link Here: http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterPG3.asp?ProductID=2771&GunID=420

If I remember right, the front sight on the 45 Colt Blackhawk is taller than that on those of other calibers.

Just measured front sight to be 3/8" almost exactly.

The front sight on the 4 5/8".45 cal.BH is .095" taller than one on a .357 mag. with the same barrel length.

The front sight blade is approximately .43", and the total height from the barrel to the top of the blade is approximately .59".
