Ruger's laminate Bearcat grips are okay, but why aren't there many aftermarket ones?

Mr. Peterson makes his beautiful stag. Sid Ryan has three styles of white polymer. A couple of other places have high dollar wood.

What I'd like is black polymer, aka faux buffalo horn. Would look great on a stainless Bearcat. Ajax did make it. Hogue used to make some Bearcat grips, don't remember which, don't understand why they dropped them.

Sid Ryan has nice faux ivory, and I've emailed him repeatedly about making the same ones, but using black polymer. He apparently isn't good with email, no answer. He makes other grips using black, and his $30 price fits my budget.

Black Micarta would really be nice, but pricey, IF anyone made it. $77 a bit steep for me, but these Letts would be beautimous, if still made:

I saw one recently made of white kitchen counter top material (coriander or something like that) and it looked great. The owner used scotch bright pad to make it a little dull and to give an illusion of grain. It looked like real ivory.
