Single-Sixer
I had an SBR'd 10/22 receiver that I wanted to change up. In my 15 years of owning a 10/22, I've reconfigured them countless times. Hands down, my favorite iteration was when I had a liberty training rifle setup. It was simple, easy to shoot and had great sights.
So I decided to take my old stainless barrel and chop it down and thread it for a suppressor. The work was done by Grumpy's Guns in TX and they did a great job. Beyond that it's pretty stock 10/22. Some Volquartsen bits, some factory parts and Tech Sights. I call it my Tanker 10/22.
It's funny how a simple little change makes a big difference. Even with my can on it it's shorter than a factory carbine and the balance is about the same as the full-size rifle. For someone who's used to super tricked out 10/22s I'm pretty tickled about having a simple, fun little gun.
