Austin Stevens--The Snakeman

Since I was old enough to crawl, I've loved reptiles. About 3 months ago i had a 5'+ King snake slide under my mower deck About 4 weeks ago I had a 30"+/- Garter snake avoid the blades.

My boy and I used to like the Steve Irwin shows. Yesterday I found this 45 minute documentary with Austin Stevens. Forget the canned drama. This made me want to explore the Apalachicola, FL swamps.

If you like snakes like I do, you might want to give this a watch. There's no way I'm getting in the faces of those particular snakes! :shock: Enjoy if you wish. 42 minutes:

Having been to several swamps of Florida,,, I didn't need to watch the video. I've caught my biggest Eastern Rattlesnake, my biggest coral snake & my biggest water moccasin ever,, all in the swamps of Florida. I've dealt with more than my share of them down there.

You're in Georgia and have to go elsewhere to look for snakes?

I thought folks went to Georgia to find snakes! My most interesting encounter with cottonmouths was around Twin City, Georgia.

All I can say is that guy is CRAZY. His photos are fantastic. It was a great video. Him jumping in after the Snapper and screwing with the Cotton Mouth the way he did is CRAZY. Oh by the way did I say he was CRAZY.
