went to a auction an hour from home yesterday. in it were 3-4 older rugers. i think they were all 99-100% guns but no boxes or papers. 3 were variations of the single six. the one that caught my eye was a flat gate in the ser # range of 42,xxx. it went out the door for $580 as i recall. i'm not a big single six fan but if i were that would have been a nice one to own. i don't follow prices on these so have no clue if that was good, avg. or poor deal. just admired the gun for it's age. one of the others had factory stag grips, i think that was $560 OTD.
