Has anyone shot one of these? It's a carbine upper that fits on any Mk I, II, or III, turning it into a submachinegun-looking carbine. I saw one at a gun show today. About a year ago, I sketched something similar, just a what-if gun. Someone beat me to it!

I have an internet friend who works in a gun-shop in the Pacific NW... he has one and he has been very pleased with its performance and reliability.

I would think it would be just as reliable as the pistol... even though you are i presume changing out the barrel on one....
seems kind of limited since you are I presume still using the same 10 round magazines. I'm much rather upgrade a 10/22 or Charger to 'taticool' like this... then you can really get funky with mag. capacity.
