I have a first gen Glock 17 cx prefix with less than 300 rds threw it, with original bullet box and manual
I had a Gen 1 17L I sold for $1,000 about 10 years ago - in the tupperware no papers. I bought it for $150 so I thought I was doing good. It was from the second batch because it didn't have the vented barrel that were prone to cracking. I still have my very early Gen 2 19 with the desirable Austrian proof marks. Bought it new so I still have all the papers and tupperware box - but I did pull the gaudy labels off the box when I got it.In 2017 a Gen 1 Glock 17 brought $6700 at auction; others brought $2000 to $2500.
Gen 1 Glock 19s fetch $5k In some places.
The devil is in the details. Folks not familiar with a Single Six would scoff at price differences not knowing a NM is vastly different than a RSSE.
Not true. Maybe not to you.I would compare a collectable glock to a collectable remington 870 wingmaster 12 gage shotgun. There are soo many 870s out there, that even the old ones aren't worth much. Same with glocks.

As someone commented, "non ported barrel prone to cracking....," for a thousand dollars.....insanity. Yes... there truly is a sucker born every moment. Not true. Maybe not to you.
...I really like no rail.
