Another WC820 Question

Well I finally broke down and bought a 50th Anniversary Blackhawk from CDNN.

As I'm still sitting on a bunch of WC820, I was hoping someone has some favorite loads for the .357 they'd like to share.

I've got some Laser Cast 158gn LSWC's and Federal SPM primers on hand and Starline brass on the way.

The boys at cast boolits load a lot of the surplus powder. I'd look/ask over there.

Treat it like H-110 , it`s a half a notch slower burn but the data will work to get ya started.

I use WC820 for 357, 44mag, 45colt. I use AA9 data but know some use H-110. It seems to work best with top end loads. Here are some 357 loads directly from the Accurate Arms website using AA9 data.

My WC820 loads like H110 rather than AA9 in my 30 Carbine. Haven't tried 357M.

Accurate sold WC820 as No 9 Surplus way back when. The recommendation was to use No 9 data which works fine (820 is just a little bit slower than No 9) and if desired to use a magnum primer. I'd not use the WSPM without significantly reducing the charge weight though. No 9 didn't need a magnum primer.
