Another grip question

I just bought this new Vaquero, but have not received it yet. It is a KNV model number on the box. Can you experts tell me what grips will fit it? I don't like plastic grips and want wood.

It looks like the mid-frame and when you order grips they will probably be lister under 50th or New Vaquero. If you have any questions, ask the grip maker you choose, they will far more help than me.

Congratulations Louie! You don't mention caliber, but yes midframe as stated...and looks like an NV Montado - or you also lucked out by getting an NV .44 Sheriff with someone already having installed a Montado/SBH hammer? There are a number of fine gripmakers here who would be happy to make some fine panels for that gorgeous gun--including Carl "Pvt" Schultz and Cary Chapman (CaryC) that come to mind as two top makers. Sack Peterson's another that makes some nice stag/elk grips.

It is a 357 and has a grooved grip frame in the front........... It does not say Montado on the box however.....

...Still a Montado. Same gripframe (size) as all other NVs, 50ths.
