Another Great Road Trip...

Semi-yearly, Heliman and I take a road trip to meet up with Bear Paw Jack and McKnight77. Heliman and I travel from Western Oregon and Western Washington. Bear Paw Jack and McKnight77 travel from the Boise area, and Pendleton is the halfway point.

Our trip came and went yesterday. As always, visiting with these great fellers is truly a pleasure. My life in the woods and mountains of Oregon and Washington is pale compared to the life in Alaska these (now) Idahodians have experienced.

I look forward to our next meetup. :mrgreen:

It truly was a great time. Just take into consideration that there was 269 years of wisdom, or at least life experience at that table. The waitress kept checking on us to make sure we were all still breathing. :mrgreen: Not really but it's fun to be around people your age who think very similarly and have similar hobbies and enjoyment. Can't wait for the next one.

Oh, I did. It didn't start out that way however. I was the price of a couple meals ahead, until I reinvested it. But I did leave with most of my original investment intact. 8)

I got ahead twice until I decided I was on a roll. Then I discovered how they could afford to build that building out there. I think the machines are rigged. Shouldn't have gotten there early.

I had a great time with these guys. I rarely gamble, so the casino was no richer for my visit. We also had a short show and tell in the parking lot with some of our new additions to our gun safes.

Idaho must be the place. My next door neighbors left a couple hours ago. Truck & 5th wheel, U-Haul and horse trailer all full. They bought a place about 3 years ago and are now going to live there full time. If it didn't snow we'd be going too. Love the area our trip we took this month was fly to Rapid City. Visit Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Wind Cave, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Dinosaur, Badlands & Buffalo Gap. The grandson had a great time and we had him home in time to go to Hawaii this week.
