I have a Andy Horvath blackhawk, and its based on others Ive seen pics of. I dont think Ive ever seen a Horvath vaquero? I think his Little Ruger style with 4" barrel and round butt grip would be an exciting option. He already has another backhawk of mine that I sent nearly a year ago. I have a vaquero that would like "grooving" and was thinking of giving him a call.
Pics show my 1st Horvath. The 2nd pic is nm flattop and a 8 3/8 s&w model 25 barrel that is with Andy now. It will be built to match a gun that John Taffin had built.

I talked to Andy today. He does vaquero work. But his wait list has increased significantly. I was advised to hold off since I already had a gun with him.

I need to call Mr Horvath and see about wait times for him to fit some Ebony or Black Micarta grips for my Blackhawk that he worked on.
I like the faux Ivory that he sent out with the gun, and they are fit VERY well... but I sure would like some dark wood grips on this beast. He seems like the best bet for fitting grips, since that is his grip frame design and he is well versed in fitting grips to that design.

Seems like he has a waitlist, but sometimes a gunsmith will squeeze in a quick job such as grip fitting.
