Ammo Question

Can I use 38 long colt 150 grain lubaloy in my GP 100?

The above quote comes from Wikipedia. First guess is that it would be fine, but rather underpowered, maybe 750 fps.
If I am wrong, there should be someone coming up behind me.

Thanks for the info. I confirmed that as well by checking at one of the local firing ranges.
